Public Education
The E-911 public education program focuses on educating the public on the appropriate use of 9-1-1.
In our education program there are three basic messages: when to call 9-1-1, how to call 9-1-1, and what to say when you call 9-1-1.
Our educational program can also discuss the many different devices (cell phone, hardwire phone, VOIP) you can use to call 9-1-1 and how that device can affect you in getting the help you need in an emergency. We also have a 9-1-1 simulator available for the younger audience to practice calling 9-1-1 and to practice answering the questions the dispatcher has in order to get help started.
